Credits and payments

AskGPT uses a credit-based system.
Each request sent through the extension consumes credits.

Credits can be purchased through PayPal.

  • We only receive confirmation of the purchase and the number of credits associated with your account.

Use of the AskGPT extension

When you select text on a webpage and submit a request:

  • The selected text is sent to a GPT-based API to generate a response.

Data retention

  • Account-related information (such as email and credit balance) is stored to manage access and usage.
  • Text sent to the GPT API is processed in real time and is not stored permanently by AskGPT.
